Welcome!
We are so excited to have you here for our 2025 Spring Concert, In Her Own Voice: A Celebration of Women Composers. This has been an exciting project to put together from diving into new music to singing familiar favorites to premiering a new work by Jean Richards. The RCC’s hard work will be put on full display this evening as we sing works by Laura Farnell, Debra Scroggins, Heather Sorenson and Amy F. Bernon.
We will also feature an organ work by Maureen Howell (performed by our accompanist, Kenton Kravig) as well as one of my favorite songs, Both Sides Now, by the great Joni Mitchell. This concert is filled with beautiful music written by some of the most talented women in the world.
